Grayson Elijah, Studio owner & Director 

Grayson Elijah is a passionate dance educator dedicated to nurturing your child's love for dance. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Troy University, Grayson brings knowledge and a gentle, encouraging approach to every class. She believes dance is about building confidence, fostering creativity, and developing a lifelong appreciation for the arts. As President of Southern Union's Dance Program and Dance Captain at Troy University, Grayson is committed to a supportive learning environment. As a choreographer, Grayson understands the power of expression through movement and strives to unlock potential in every student. Your child will benefit from instruction informed by experience at renowned studios throughout Alabama, as well as hands-on experience at national dance competitions. As an Adjunct Instructor at Southern Union, Grayson is dedicated to providing exceptional dance education in a safe and inspiring space. 

Taylor Rucker

Acro, Tap, & Ballet 

Taylor Rucker began dancing at age four and trained for 14 years in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, pom, kickline and acro. She studied with Central Texas Ballet Conservatory and Alisa’s Dance Academy in Austin, Texas. In high school, she founded and served as Captain of Regents School of Austin’s Knightline dance team. Taylor is Acrobatic Arts Certified with over six years of teaching and choreography experience. She also served as Children’s Director for the Moscow Ballet’s The Nutcracker during their Alabama tour.

A graduate of Auburn University, Taylor is a proud wife and mama of two who believes dance is a gift that shapes both skill and character. She is passionate about teaching discipline, confidence, perseverance and leadership, and finds so much joy in mentoring young dancers both on and off the stage.

Teacher Assistants 

Meet our dedicated teaching assistants! These talented individuals are currently advanced dancers in our Studio 1 Eleven company, diligently training under the guidance of our experienced instructors. They are preparing to one day lead their own classes of aspiring young dancers.
